What happened to the Uber Eats driver in DC?

An Uber Eats driver in Washington, DC was arrested on charges of sexual assault after he allegedly raped a female customer. The driver, identified as 37-year-old Akeem Hunt, has been arrested and is currently in custody.

The victim says that she ordered food from Uber Eats on May 3 and was waiting for the driver to arrive when she was attacked. She told police that Hunt forced himself on her and raped her.

The victim was taken to a hospital for a rape examination and has since been released.

Hunt has been charged with first-degree sexual assault and is currently being held without bond.

This is the latest in a string of sexual assault allegations against Uber Eats drivers. In March, an Uber Eats driver was arrested in Los Angeles after he allegedly raped a female passenger.

And in February, an Uber Eats driver was arrested in New York City after he allegedly raped a female passenger.

These incidents highlight the need for Uber Eats to take steps to protect its customers. For example, Uber Eats should require drivers to have a criminal background check and provide safety tips to customers.

As these incidents show, Uber Eats drivers are often not properly trained to deal with situations like sexual assault. This is especially important given the fact that Uber Eats drivers are not licensed taxi drivers.

While Uber Eats has taken some steps to protect its customers, the company needs to do more.
