What happens if you have a PayPal account under 18?

PayPal is an online payment service that allows individuals to make and receive payments without having to carry cash or use a credit card. The company is headquartered in San Jose, California.

As of February 2016, PayPal had approximately 197 million active users and processed $60.8 billion in payments that year.

If you are under 18 years of age, you are not allowed to open a PayPal account. Additionally, if you are under 18 and have a PayPal account, you may not use it to make any transactions that require money.

If you violate this policy, PayPal may close your account and/or report the violation to law enforcement.
