What is vegan at Publix?

There’s no denying that veganism is on the rise. As more and more people are becoming aware of the environmental and health benefits of a plant-based diet, they’re ditching animal products in favor of vegan alternatives.

Even major food chains are starting to get on board, with some offering vegan menus and products. Publix is one such chain, and while they don’t have a fully vegan menu, there are plenty of vegan-friendly options available.

So, what is vegan at Publix? Well, the short answer is anything that doesn’t contain any animal products.

That means no meat, poultry, fish, dairy, eggs, or honey. However, it’s important to read labels carefully as some processed foods may contain animal-derived ingredients like gelatin or whey.

Luckily, Publix makes it easy to find vegan products with their “GreenWise” label. This label is given to any product that contains no animal products or by-products, so you can be sure that anything with this label is 100% vegan.

There are a variety of GreenWise products available at Publix, including a wide selection of fruits and vegetables, grains and pastas, plant-based proteins like tofu and tempeh, and even some vegan desserts. With so many delicious and healthy vegan options available, there’s no reason not to try going vegan at Publix!
