What states are Costco located in?

Costco is a American membership-only warehouse club that provides a wide selection of merchandise, ranging from groceries to electronics to furniture. It is the second largest retailer in the United States after Walmart, and as of 2015, there were Costco locations in 42 states and Puerto Rico.

Costco was founded in 1976 by James (Jim) Sinegal and Jeffrey Brotman. Their first location was in Seattle, Washington.

In 1993, Costco merged with Price Club, which was founded in 1976 by Sol Price. This created a chain of membership-only warehouse clubs with locations on the West Coast, in the Midwest, and in the United Kingdom.
