What states have KFC?

There are currently 31 states in the United States of America that have a KFC restaurant. This list includes both the original KFC restaurant locations as well as any locations that have been rebranded as KFC.

The states that have KFC restaurants are as follows: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. .

There are a few exceptions to the states that have a KFC restaurant. The first exception is Hawaii, where the original KFC restaurant closed in 1997.

KFC then opened two restaurants in 2007, but both of these locations have since closed. The other exception is Minnesota, where KFC has not opened a restaurant since 1993.
