When did McDonald’s have Madame Alexander dolls?

In the early 1900s, McDonald’s had Madame Alexander dolls. These dolls were made to look like African American women and were meant to teach children about African Americans.

The dolls were popular among children and adults and were even featured in a children’s book. McDonald’s discontinued the dolls in the 1970s, but they are still popular among collectors.
