Where is Amazon building new distribution centers?

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Amazon is in the process of constructing new distribution centers that will be able to handle the company’s growing online sales. The new centers will be located in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Jersey, and each will have the capacity to process and store up to a million items.

The move comes as Amazon continues to face increasing pressure from Walmart and other big-box retailers in the retail market. Increasingly, consumers are turning to online retailers to purchase items, and Amazon is hoping to capitalize on this trend by expanding its distribution capabilities.

While the new centers will only account for a small portion of Amazon’s total sales, they are an important part of the company’s strategy. By building more distribution centers, Amazon is able to reduce the time it takes to deliver items to customers, as well as the cost of doing so.

This, in turn, allows Amazon to continue to competitively price its products, which is something that has helped the company grow quickly in the past.
