Which country owns Burger King?

Burger King is a global fast food restaurant chain that originated in the United States. The company is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and has over 20,000 restaurants in over 100 countries. It is operated by three international divisions: the Americas, Europe, and Asia. The Americas division is responsible for Burger King operations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Europe division operates Burger King restaurants in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia. The Asia division operates Burger King restaurants in China, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and India.

In October 2010, Restaurant Brands International, Inc. (NYSE: RBIS) acquired 100% of Burger King Holdings, Inc. (BKH) for $3.3 billion. This made Restaurant Brands the world’s second largest fast food chain, behind McDonald’s Corporation. As a result, the company is now known as Burger King.
