Who owns Chick-fil-A now?

Since Chick-Fil-A closed its doors to the public in 1996, the company has been privately owned and operated by the Winship family. In 2012, the company was sold to the investment firm Winfield Capital Management LLC for an undisclosed sum. Winfield Capital Management LLC is made up of several family members and friends of the Winship family.

The company has since closed multiple stores and laid off thousands of employees. Chick-Fil-A is now owned by the Winfield family and operated as a privately owned company.
