UPS packages are delayed for a variety of reasons. One of the most common reasons is that the package is waiting for a driver to come pick it up. Other common reasons for a UPS package to be delayed include: the package being held up at customs, the package being too large to fit through the delivery truck’s door, or the package being too heavy for the delivery truck to carry.
In most cases, a package will be delayed for no more than a few hours. However, in some cases, a UPS package can be delayed for days or even weeks.
