Why can’t I create a USPS account?

As of January 20, 2015, the United States Postal Service (USPS) no longer allows the creation of new online accounts.

This means that if you are looking to shop, bank, or use any other USPS features online, you will need to create an account using the agency’s traditional login process.

This change was made in an effort to improve security and cut down on online abuse. Anyone who has already created an online account with the USPS prior to January 20, 2015, will still be able to use it.

If you are unable to create a new online account, there are still a number of ways to access the USPS’ services.

You can sign in using your current username and password, or you can create a new account using the agency’s traditional login process.

Anyone who is looking to use the USPS’ online services should first try to create an account using the traditional login process. If that fails, they should try signing in using their username and password.

If that still doesn’t work, they can try creating a new account using the agency’s online sign-in process.

The conclusion is that if you are looking to use the USPS’ online services, you will need to create an account using the agency’s traditional login process.
