At 14 years old, you are legally allowed to work in the United States. You are also allowed to work at Publix. In order to work at Publix, you must meet the following requirements:
You must be at least 14 years old.
You must have a valid work permit.
You must be able to lift 25 pounds.
You must be able to stand for long periods of time.
If you meet all of the above requirements, you can fill out an application online or in person at your local Publix store. Once you have submitted your application, a manager will contact you to set up an interview.
During your interview, the manager will ask you questions about your availability and your previous work experience (if any).
If the manager decides to hire you, they will give you a start date and training schedule. You will then be officially employed by Publix and will begin earning an hourly wage.
