How much is Apple pay at Asda?

Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service by Apple Inc. that allows users to make payments in person, in iOS apps, and on the web. It is supported on the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac. Apple Pay uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology to transmit payment information securely between devices and payment terminals.

Asda is a British supermarket chain with stores across the United Kingdom. It is the second largest chain in the country after Tesco. As of February 2020, Asda had 621 stores, including 147 from its acquisition of Argos owner Sainsbury’s.

Apple Pay is accepted at all Asda stores in the United Kingdom. To use Apple Pay at Asda, customers need to have an iPhone or Apple Watch running iOS 11 or later, or an iPad running iOS 12 or later.

They also need to have the Asda app installed on their device. When paying in store, customers simply need to hold their device up to the contactless payment terminal and place their finger on the Touch ID sensor.
