Is Ace Hardware the same as true value?

Ace Hardware and True Value are two of the most popular hardware stores in the United States. Both stores offer a wide variety of hardware and home improvement products, but there are some key differences between the two.

Ace Hardware was founded in 1924 and is headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. True Value was founded in 1948 and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

Ace Hardware has more than 4,700 stores across the United States, while True Value has about 4,400 stores.

One key difference between the two stores is that Ace Hardware is a cooperative, meaning that it is owned by its member-store owners. True Value, on the other hand, is a publicly traded company.

Another difference is that Ace Hardware store owners have more control over what products are carried in their stores and how they are displayed. True Value store owners have less control over these things.

Finally, Ace Hardware offers a loyalty program called “Ace Rewards” which gives customers points for every purchase they make. True Value does not have a loyalty program.

So, while both Ace Hardware and True Value are great places to shop for hardware and home improvement products, there are some key differences between the two stores.
