CVS Health Corporation is an American company that operates as a pharmacy and health care provider. The company was founded in 1986 and is headquartered in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
In March 2017, CVS Health announced that it would be acquired by Aetna for $69 billion. At the time of the acquisition, CVS Health was the second largest pharmacy chain in the United States.
