The retail giant is now offering a car seat trade-in program that will allow you to trade in your old car seat and receive a 20% off coupon to use on a new one.
The program, which runs from September 3 through September 13, is open to all guests who have a car seat that they no longer need. Simply bring your old car seat to the Guest Services desk at your local Target store and they will give you a 20% off coupon to use on a new car seat, booster seat, or travel system.
The coupon can be used both in-store and online.
In addition to getting 20% off your new purchase, you’ll also be helping the environment. According to Target, “car seats typically expire after 6 years” and “most car seats contain steel, plastic and foam, which can all be recycled.”
