In recent years, Trader Joe’s has been expanding its reach across the United States. The grocery chain now has locations in nearly every state, including Florida.
Trader Joe’s first arrived in Florida in 2010, when it opened a store in Jacksonville. Since then, it has slowly but surely been expanding its presence in the Sunshine State. As of 2019, there are now nine Trader Joe’s locations in Florida, with more on the way.
The most recent addition to the Trader Joe’s family in Florida is a store that opened earlier this year in Miami. This location is particularly noteworthy because it is the chain’s first store in South Florida.
With its expansion into South Florida, it seems clear that Trader Joe’s is here to stay in Florida. And judging by the popularity of its stores elsewhere in the state, it seems likely that the chain will continue to grow in popularity here.
