Is UPS Freight now TForce?

Since UPS Freight rebranded as TForce in early 2017, there has been much discussion about whether or not the company has fully transitioned to the TForce brand. In this article, we will explore whether or not TForce is now the official name for UPS Freight.

First, it is important to understand that UPS Freight was originally known as UPS Ground. In early 2017, UPS announced that they were rebranding their entire shipping division as TForce.

This included renaming UPS Ground to TForce, as well as all of the associated brands (UPS, UPS Freight, UPS International). However, some customers and employees of UPS Freight continued to refer to the company as UPS Ground.

This confusion was further exacerbated by the fact that the TForce website and marketing materials still refer to UPS Ground as the “old” name for UPS Freight. For example, the website’s “About Us” section still refers to UPS Ground as the “former name” for UPS Freight.

However, in early 2018, UPS announced that the old name for UPS Freight, UPS Ground, would no longer be used. From now on, all marketing and materials for UPS Freight will use the TForce name.

This includes the website, social media, and even company vehicles.

So, has UPS Freight fully transitioned to the TForce brand? In short, yes. The company has officially rebranded as TForce, and all marketing and materials should use this name from now on.
