What ceiling fans were recalled at Lowe’s?

In May of 2018, Lowe’s announced a recall of three ceiling fans due to a potential electric shock hazard. The fans were sold under the Hampton Bay, Harbor Breeze, and Lowe’s Essential brand names. The affected models are the 52-inch Hampton Bay Marina Cove, the 52-inch Harbor Breeze Armitage, and the 44-inch Lowe’s Essential Windemere.

All three models are ceiling-mounted and have brushed nickel finishes. The affected fans were sold at Lowe’s stores nationwide from April 2018 through May 2018 for between $50 and $60.

Customers should immediately stop using the recalled ceiling fans and return them to any Lowe’s store for a full refund. For more information, customers can contact Lowe’s at 1-800-445-6937 from 6 a.m. to 2 p. PT Monday through Friday, or visit www.lowes.com and click on “Product Recalls” at the bottom of the page then “View All Recall Notices” for more information.
