Where is the new Amazon distribution center?

As reported by The Wall Street Journal in February of this year, Amazon plans to open a new distribution center in Fernley, Nevada. The new facility, which is expected to employ up to 1,500 people, will be Amazon’s third distribution center in the state.

The Fernley site is located just east of Reno and just south of Carson City. According to the Journal report, Amazon is expected to spend up to $340 million on the new facility, which is expected to create up to 1,500 jobs.
