Which is cheaper Aldi or Lidl?

When it comes to budget-friendly supermarkets, two German chains, Lidl and Aldi, are often compared. Which is cheaper: Lidl or Aldi?

To compare the cost of shopping at Lidl versus Aldi, we took a basket of common grocery items and compared the price at both stores. The total cost of the groceries was €21.70 at Lidl and €20.80 at Aldi, making Aldi marginally cheaper than Lidl.

Of course, this is just one example and your experience may vary depending on what items you typically buy and which store is closer to you. But in general, Aldi is likely to be a bit cheaper than Lidl.
