Rob Lowe is an actor who has appeared in many films and television shows. He is married to Sheryl Berkoff.
Rob Lowe was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, on March 17, 1964. His parents were Barbara Lynn and Charles Davis Lowe.
He has two brothers, actor Chad Lowe and writer Justin Lowe. He attended Santa Monica High School, where he was a member of the school’s football team. After graduation, he attended the University of Southern California.
Lowe began his acting career in the early 1980s with appearances in several television movies and miniseries. He made his film debut in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Outsiders (1983).
He also appeared in Coppola’s Rumble Fish (1983) and The Cotton Club (1984). In 1985, he had a role in the film St. Elmo’s Fire.
Lowe appeared in several films in the 1980s, including About Last Night.. (1986), Square Dance (1987), and Bad Influence (1990). He also appeared in the television series The West Wing from 1999 to 2006. In 2010, he starred in the film The Way Back.
In 2012, Lowe began appearing in the television series Parks and Recreation. He has also appeared in the films Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997), Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999), and Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002).
Lowe has been married to Sheryl Berkoff since July 22, 1991. They have two sons: Matthew Edward Lowe and John Owen Lowe.
