Does USPS give you a uniform?

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is an organization that delivers mail throughout the United States. According to the USPS, “The USPS delivers more than just mail – it delivers the nation’s mail and package services.” The USPS provides a uniform to its employees, which includes a blue uniform, a white shirt, a blue blazer, and a white dress or skirt. The uniform is mandatory for all employees who work in the mailroom or on the mail truck.

In addition, the USPS provides employees with a set of guidelines for how to dress. Employees are not allowed to wear any type of clothing that could identify them as a postal worker. The only exceptions to this rule are hats and scarves.
