Kohl’s is an American department store retail chain, founded in 1962. They operate 1,158 stores in 49 states. Kohl’s is the second-largest department store in the United States behind Walmart, and is a component of the S&P 500 Index.
In early 2017, Amazon announced that they would be partnering with Kohl’s to allow returns at Kohl’s locations nationwide for items purchased through Amazon.
This partnership was seen as a way for Amazon to gain more brick-and-mortar locations to make returns easier for their customers, while also helping to drive foot traffic into Kohl’s stores.
However, as of 2019, there is no longer any mention of this partnership on either company’s website, and it seems that the program has been discontinued. It’s unclear why the program was discontinued, but it may have had something to do with the fact that Amazon has since opened up their own brick-and-mortar locations (Amazon Books and Amazon 4-star) where customers can make returns.
