Which Best Buy stores are closing?

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Best Buy has announced that it will be closing 150 stores worldwide. The majority of these stores are in the United States, with the remainder spread across Canada, Mexico, and Turkey. Best Buy has not yet released a list of which specific stores will be closing.

This move comes as no surprise, as Best Buy has been struggling financially in recent years. In 2019, the company announced that it would be closing all 250 of its mobile phone stores in the U.S. This latest round of store closings is likely an effort to further cut costs and stay afloat during these difficult times.

While it’s always unfortunate to see a retailer close its doors, Best Buy’s decision to do so is understandable given the current circumstances. And with so many stores set to close, there’s a good chance that your local Best Buy is on the list. So if you’re in the market for a new TV or laptop, you may want to act fast before your local store closes for good.
