The company moved its headquarters to Dublin, Ohio, on January 29, 2006. On April 24, 2008, the company announced a merger with Triarc Companies Inc., a publicly traded company and the parent company of Arby’s. Despite the new ownership, Wendy’s headquarters remained in Dublin.

Following the merger, Triarc became known as Wendys/Arbys Group, Inc., a publicly traded company.

Wendy’s and Arby’s restaurants are operated by The Wendys/Arbys Group Inc. The Wendys/Arbys Group Inc. is the third largest quick-service restaurant company in the U.S. based on revenue and the largest quick-service restaurant company in terms of system units.

The Wendys/Arbys Group Inc. consists of two companies: Wendy’s International, LLC (the “Wendy’s Company”) and Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. (“Arby’s”). Wendy’s Company is the franchisor of the Wendy’s restaurant system in the United States and certain foreign markets and Arby’s is the franchisor of the Arby’s restaurant system in the United States.
